It’s the weekend and Houston is heating up! This breezy two-toned romper outfit is a great way to stay cool. I’m wearing this pretty two-toned lavender and cream romper from Langford Market with crochet details on the waist and pockets. If rompers intimidated you a bit think of them as short dresses. Here I am wearing the romper two ways. In the first photo pictured above could be great for a casual evening at a cafe pairing the romper with strappy nude heels and a statement necklace. The second look is a day look where I swapped the heels for ankle boots and added pink knitted long vest because I’m always cold in air-conditioning!
What I love about this look is the pastel color combination of the two-toned lavender and pink vest.
Tips for buying/wearing rompers:
1. Go for the solid colors first, they will be easier to style.
2. Avoid skin-tight rompers.
3. Add a belt to clinch the waist line if you feel the romper is too boxy.
4. Treat it like a short dress and style it as such.
5. Statement jewelry is a great way to dress up a simple romper.
